Too much to see in Chattanooga!

Can I Drive?
Chattanooga was one of the cities high on our list as we started planning our journey last year, and it's always nice when something lives up to expectations.  You could easily spend a month or more here and still not see everything.  There are scenic drives everywhere, tourist attractions (Rock City, Ruby Falls, Tennessee Acquarium), shopping, events, etc.  If you expand your sites a bit there's the Space Center in Alabama, Atlanta, Smoky Mountains, and more.

In other words, we really like it here!

Ruby Falls is an underground fall in Lookout Mountain

Starting our cave journey to Ruby Fall.
Very nice but also crowded tour.

Point Park at the peak of Lookout Mountain

Civil War history and monuments are everywhere

New York Monument at Point Park

Pictures like this show why Lookout Mountain was strategically
important and fought over.  Control of Chattanooga was
critical for logistics...it was the main railroad hub
Waterfall at the top of Rock City
I love the little girl's face!

View of 7 states from Rock City.  This is a theme park that was
started in the 20's and is really a fun place to visit

The Butterfly Garden was amazing!
